I am looking for lively artists, creatives, and makers to interview for my podcast series called, Makers Café (at least that is the tentative name).
Show Concept is as follows: Makers Cafe Podcast: "Brewing up creative conversations about art, culture, and lifestyle. We're Getting cozy and caffeinated with Makers and Artists across many borders and art disciplines. Pull up a chair and get to know the person behind the art."
My goal: to create engagement, relax, and enjoy each other's company over a hot beverage (albeit virtual).
Show details: We're not here to solve heavy world problems (or are we...? ;-), but we can make life a little more interesting as we share our experiences with creativity and see where the conversation take us. We'll keep the tone casual with a dash of humor and philosophical inquiry. You, as a prospective guests, must be open about talking about yourself, your art, your ideas, and your life. If you cringe at the idea of talking about these things, this probably isn't for you. I plan for each episode to run between 30-50 minutes. It goes by fast.
Technical requirements: A computer, Skype application, and a pair of earbuds (or fancy-pants headset, if you happen to have one). This is not a video podcast, only audio, which makes me happy because looking at you will distract me from what you are saying. Yay for audio!
If you think you might want to be interviewed, contact the podcast host, Gabrielle, here. You will be sent some introductory questions to find out more about you and which direction I should take in the recorded interview. I have several artists lined up already, but please reach out if this sounds like something you'd LOVE to do. If you get cold-feet later, that is okay, but initially I'm hoping the idea lights you up! Go with your first instinct.
